Hello everyone. I need some assistance, and where better to go than here.

My local Christian book store is selling Bibles for $5.00 for our troops. You take the Bible home and write a personal message in the front. You return it to the book store and they mail it to our troops. I'm sure other Christian book stores are doing this also so some of you may be familiar with this.

I purchased 2 Bibles and brought them home. I am struggling with what I want to write in them. Can you guys help please? THANKS.

Just let them know that you are greatful for their sacrifice to this Nation and that you are praying for them. You might even share your testimony with them on how you came to Christ. Just keep it simple and from the heart.
God Bless :hug

RadiantSON, That is something! I did that last Sunday, I was in the Christan Book Store with my daughter & she wanted to do that also, I bought one Bible & my daughters & I signed it. I thanked them for their service & highlited a verse from Isaiah. I could have put Psalm 32:8, or 1Peter5:7, Isaiah 41:10 or Jeremiah 33:3 anyway it is a neat thing to do.

I have a son over there...he appreciates any and all messages of support.
Tell the soldier that you appreciate what they are doing, a simple "Thank You" is enough to bring tears to most of their eyes.
True story about that...
My son was home, helping out at the local recruiting station...he was at the local mall...a WW2 veteran stopped him, shook his hand and told him how much he appreciated my son...my son, 21, 6'1, tough as nails, sobbed like a baby...

They do a hard job, they give up so much...pray for them, pray for their families...
