A while back I read a thread asking about those tracts that look like money and whether or not they were deceptive. I wasn't a member at the time, so I couldn't respond directly to the thread (and I've never joined any other boards so I'm still trying to figure how all this technology works...) But I really feel that I need to share a personal story with you about those tracts:
A friend of mine and I had been witnessing to another friend for quite some time. One time we all went out to dinner, and were generally having a good time until it came time to pay. When my friend went to pay for his dinner he pulled out that tract. He had picked it up, just assumed that it was money, and put it in his wallet. My friend and I are both women, and he was very humiliated about having to ask us for money to pay for dinner (it was a cheap place, but still.) Now, while I think that it is foolish to put something that you think is money in your wallet without looking at it and then try to use it to pay for something, I do believe that tract can be deceptive. Our friend certainly felt deceived, and he wouldn't listen to any more of our witness after that. I still pray that he eventually finds Christ (My unsaved friend is no longer in my life.) I think that there was serious damage caused specifically by that tract, and I would urge you to use caution when using it.
