I just want to thank the Lord for America. Without it imagine where we would be. Thank you Lord for the freedom of speech we have been given in this land, and the opportunities we have before us.

I soooo agree with you! I know America has her problems. But from a person who has traveled outside the US more than once...I still say this IS THE GREATEST NATION ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH! There will never be another like her...God has blessed America beyond belief and I thank God that I was privileged enough to be born here.

I have been thinking about this very thing for the past few days. I am so grateful to have been born here in America. My blood sometimes boils and I have to pray and ask the Lord to help me to forgive some teachers and professors in college who put down this country and our founding fathers. I sometimes think that they are nuts. They dwell on the bad mainly. I think about that scriputure where people are described as unthankful in the last day.

I agree with AbidingHope: sometimes we don't realize how much "God shed His grace on thee" until we go to somewhere that hasn't been so truly blessed. May God continue to bless our country, and may we who are faithful continue to fight those who would bring us to our knees (both internally and abroad.) Thank you Lord for letting me be born in this country.
