Hello all,

I would like to introduce myself but I don't have much time at the moment, so it will be the bare minimum. :typing

My name is Tom, my wife and I have been married for sixteen years (together twenty-one years). We have five children, two boys and three girls. Our youngest will be two years old tomorrow and is adopted from China. Our first son, Thomas II went home to Heaven five years ago. He was killed by a drunk driver. It's only by trust and faith in our Lord that we've been able to stand through our loss. We look forward to what we have rather than what we have lost, and that is treasure in Heaven. We are thankful for what God has provided through His Son, Jesus Christ and look for the day when we will be reunited, never having to say goodbye again.

I work full time in retail and also preach. Because of the faithful witness of a friend, I was saved in January 1998 and have watched my entire family come to Christ not long afterward. God has been merciful, gracious, and loving. He has truly blessed my life and the life of those I hold dear.

I'm looking forward to fellowship. :wave

Hi, Brother Tom. Welcome to RR. I'm so sorry about your son. I can sympathize with you, as my son was killed in a motorcycle crash last year. You will find that several of the members of RR have lost children and look forward to seeing them again soon. God bless you.

Hello BrotherTom and welcome. :hat I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your son ThomasII. That must be something very difficult in living with. I couldn't begin to fathom the pain or hurt you must have felt. I, too and married (20 years) and have two children. The thought of losing either one is unbearable. However, I do know our Lord is great and able to get us through any trying circumstances. You must have a powerful testimony regarding this I'm sure. Praying that our great Lord will richly bless the time you spend here, Tom. :)
