How many commandments did David break with the Bathsheba ordeal? I'm thinking about his dealings with Uriah and the 'shalt not bear false witness' and 'shalt not lie'. He didn't actually do either one but he didn't actually not do it either. What do you think? Name them!!

and the first and second commandment.
The first and second are 'no other God's before me' and 'no graven images'.
He didn't do that did he in this case?
Definitely the adultery, kill and covet!! Don't know about the rest.

So David broke a total of three of the commandments?

David lied to Uriah, breaking the 9th commandment, and David stole Uriah's wife, breaking the 8th (2 Samuel 12:9).

Let me clarify my earlier post about him breaking the first and second commandments.
1. You shall have no other gods before me.
- Basically, nothing before God. David broke this one because He didn't keep God first, he made Bathsheeba into an idol, which he thought would satisfy and fulfill him. All sin begins with breaking the first commandment, anyways.
2. You shall not make a graven image.
- Pretty much explained it above.
