Thank You All

A couple of years ago, I began to take a keen interest in things pertaining to the “last days” described so eloquently (and precisely) in scripture. This site was among the resources that best satisfied my inquiries, and I am grateful for those of you who contribute tirelessly to its success.

My thanks are extended not just to article contributors and moderators, but to all of you who post to this board. I have often considered joining the discussion, but have historically found that necessary comments are already posted here without fail, and that my own commentary would somehow be redundant.

However, I wanted to register so that I could at least post this short message of thanks, and perhaps it will be an encouragement to some. I can assure you all that the discussions taking place on this board are being read the world over by many people who are trying to make sense of the times we are living in.

This board is also being visited by scoffers, who will be accountable for the knowledge disseminated here. God is patient even with these, not wanting anyone to perish – affording all of us the opportunity to wear a crown we do not deserve. “Let the saints rejoice in this honor…” (Psalm 149:4)

I pray that the words I choose to post here might be filled with wisdom and strength and love, and that all who participate here in sincerity be protected by our King. Come, Lord Jesus.

I have often joined you in this prayer.

Clearly, it has been effective...

I've sent you a Private Message.

Thank you so much for those kind words! This board is a comfort to me, as well as everyone else. I look at it as my "oasis on the internet", which we all know the internet is filled with alot of garbage. :fear Its nice to come here and fellowship, learn, and grow!

I always rush to be the first to post a question/answer I know someone else is bound to say or ask...

This board is a comfort to me, ...

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3-7)

It appears that a significant portion of your posts are generous in prayer for others, and you are yourself not without suffering. It is also clear that the comfort found on this board is that overflowing from Christ. My prayer for you is that this comfort leads to the patient endurance Paul describes above.

I always rush to be the first to post a question/answer I know someone else is bound to say or ask...

Then perhaps I'll check with you before writing anything prolific...

I'll try to participate as best I can.
