Oh my goodness. Look what I just found while combing the Internet for apostate Christian organizations. Look at the link below and notice their "statement of beliefs".
http://interfaithchristians.org/
The Interfaith Christian embraces all positive spiritual paths including Shamanism and earth-based traditions, often being called upon to heal gaps between the many disparate religious faiths using the original teachings of Jesus Christ, minus convoluted manmade doctrine. - Founding Statement - Rev. Ernest A. Steadman, D.D. :shocked

THE NATURE OF GOD
We believe in the majesty and greatness of God, a God who dwells throughout the Universe and is in all things.
He is the force of life itself. By any name a man calls out to the Heavens for intervention in time of need, he has called upon the One, True God. Many names, many paths, but only one God. At this moment in time, He is the same God that breathed the first breath of life throughout the Universe, and will be the same tomorrow. :shocked

We believe as was stated in the year 2000 by the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church that there will be many in Heaven who do not worship the Son nor follow His Church on earth.
At the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) the Roman Catholic Church issued this statement, “God uses other Christian churches and non-Christian religions in offering salvation to all humankind; the Catholic Church is not the only means of salvation.” :shocked
Oh brother, this mess is coming from all directions. :ohno Folks, we need to be on our toes, ever alert to false teachings and devilish doctrines. :nod

Amen to that. You can get brian mclaren to make basically the same points. That is where much of the wacked out kingdom now, universalist "Christain" emrgents types are heading. Sets up nicely for a one faith system in the near future, yes?

Perhaps you should attend to your knitting and leave others to theirs?
I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. If it means what I think, when you see gross error are you supposed to turn the other way, or expose it?

Ray,
What led you to choosing interfaith beliefs over the message of Jesus as the only way to heaven?
Do you really believe the synergy of all religions produces the gospel message?
If your knitting ties others in knots wouldn't you want the gospel scissors of Jesus to set you free and release those bonds?

The Lord knits a robe of righteousness for those who place their faith solely in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. We will wear these robes of righteousness for placing our faith solely in Him. He said he was the way, the truth, and life; no man comes to the Father except through him. :nod
The devil knits a robe of eternal punishment and condemnation for those who join hands with him in the interfaith nonsense. These people do not believe in the completed work on the Cross, they do not believe that Jesus is the only way to Heaven, they have bought and swallowed the lies of the evil one. :shocked
Which one will you wear Ray? :thinking

“……I am aware of another and quite different Christianity……. When I wrote “A New Christianity for a New World,” I tried to spell out what that different Christianity might look like.”
Bishop John Shelby Spong
The new religion of the future is the one that honors and recognizes all religions and all spiritual paths, for they all lead to the same place.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, but is not exclusive of all knowledge of our Savior nor is it entirely accurate in it’s present state of interpretation.
We believe and know that our Savior, Jesus Christ, said all good things come from the Father.
In this light, we belittle no other religion that follows a positive spiritual path to the Creator. We also respect Shamanism and all earth-based traditions, for as those who revere and honor even the simplest and smallest of God’s creations will in no less wise be rewarded by the Father in Heaven for their good works. We will not judge, for to do so, our Savior says we will be judged by the same measure.
We believe that in the final measure, Jesus embraced all who follow Him through the Holy Spirit and their actions, regardless of their faith, or lack of it.
For He knew of their deeds before they knew of Him. Thus, we welcome all who will bear the label of Interfaith Christian which boldly proclaims the validity of labels such as Christian/Wicca, Christian/Pagan, Christian/Hindu, Christian/Muslim, Christian/Humanist, etc.

I know its difficult to be exposed and chastised. I do certainly hope you are offended, because that is what should happen. Christ wasn't too worried over offending people with the truth. He is the way, the truth and the life.
You need to start telling people to abandon their Wiccan earth worship, abandon their Muslim hate god, abandon their Hindu reincarnation god. In doing so you will help save some of your hearers. It won't win you a bunch of friends who still want to cling to these ungodly teachings, but it will mean that you won't compromise the truth, and that is a very worthy thing.
The Lord doesn't really like adultery of His way and His words with other religions of this world. If you claim to be a minister of Jesus Christ, then start preaching and teaching like one.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Gal 1:9
For since by man (adam) came death, by man (Jesus) came also the resurrection of the dead For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive 1 Cor. 15:21, 22
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rms.6:23
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15
