I'm watching Firefox 3 eat up my system resources. Anyone else seeing this?
It could be a plugin, which I'm still experimenting with. Meanwhile, I'm using alternatives.

I hate it! It stops working sometimes, to the point where force quitting doesn't even work. If you don't have it, don't bother.

i had to uninstall it. however, when i tried to uninstall, i received the notice/popup-"You must shut down all firefox browsers "...and they were shut! --but i found a file called firefox.exe that was running in the background-that i had to delete before i could. i have been having trouble with firefox all month. i do not have it re-installed, currently.

Hmmm? Maybe I will delay installing 3 until it has some of the kinks worked out!

Works great under Linux and OS X, can't speak about Windoz, could be an M$ thing.

I had the same thing happen and I shut it down manually, too.:nod

It's on Mac OS X I'm having the problems! I never had a problem with FF2, but 3 is just quirky sometimes. Not often, but enough to annoy. I'm still using it, though.
