Acts15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Poor in spirit hath not much in the KOG cause because KOG is God in you like Jesus said.Again KOH is a physical kingdom its not within you. KOH is physical and it applies where Jesus applies it without question for me.
If the KOG is only internal, are Abraham, Isaac & Jacob and all the prophets in there too (Luke 13:28)?
In Luke 17:20-21, the Pharisees are the ones who ask the question and Jesus answers the Kingdom of God is in (entos) you (plural). It is highly unlikely that Jesus meant that the KOG was within each Pharisee. Nowhere else in Scripture do we find the KOG referred to as an inward spiritual experience. More likely is the translation chosen by the NASB and ESV. The kingdom of God is "in your midst" (NASB) or "in the midst of you". That is Jesus there in their midst was the beginning of the Kingdom of God.

according to Gods word there are differences blessed are the poor in SPIRIT for such is the Kingdom of Heaven, Blessed are the poor(no spirit) such is the Kingdom of God(a difference).
So then you figure Jesus made two statements in the Sermon on the Mount "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven" and "Blessed are you poor for yours is the Kingdom of God." Matthew only recorded one of the statements and Luke recorded the other.?
Kingdom of Heaven the birds lodge in the branches, kingdom of God they are overshadowed by it.
Except that Luke says that the birds lodge in the branches of the KOG. So there is no difference here. They are the same thing.
Luke 13:19 “It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”

GT, I know there is a difference between Israel and the church. That difference tho is just that they have not accepted Jesus as their Messiah. They were made blind in part until the fullness of the gentiles be come in. The Great Tribulation shows them who their real Messiah is when He comes with the saints and defeats Satan.
I showed several places where Peter and Paul were preaching to the same crowd in the book of Acts. Therefore it had to be the same message, to the Jews first and then the Gentiles. That is what the bible says without having to pick out scripture to line it up to make it say something that it really doesnt say.
I believe the Old testament saints whose faith was counted as righteousness will be with the saints(from the dispensation of grace) when Jesus comes back to conquer Satan in the Great Tribulation.

The difference between Israel and the church are different times; blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in, then rapture and refocus on Israel. They were already married to God and were given a temporary divorcement. We are His bride to be. Also Romans3:1What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles God. Romans3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. Two different types of faith.

I believe the Old testament saints whose faith was counted as righteousness will be with the saints(from the dispensation of grace) when Jesus comes back to conquer Satan in the Great Tribulation.-----------I dont I believe that , I believe the cross is the only way to Heaven O.T. saints went to Abrahams bosom and when Jesus died He preached to them. Also on another note of how Jews are different they receieve the Holy Spirit at water baptism and repentance given only to them Acts2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.John1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. I beleive in a literal rendering of passgaes, unless specified otehrwise. And they only had remission of sins of the past had to watch their walk Hebrews6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Hiya! I'm back and so are you!
Sort of like Chafer's view that there is a break in the calendar for Israel until the 'fulness of the Gentiles' be come in......an "inter-calation" he calls it.
Good to see you still holding up the truth of the Word.
:hug:thumb
Ben!
It's good to hear from you again. I hope all is going well for you, its good to see you posting again..

There are two churches anyways heisenough; The Jewish one started in Exodus found in Acts7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us. (I wasn't there nor any other Gentile unless they were circumcised), thats why the Jews are astonished when the Holy Spriit falls on the Gentiles later on in Acts.
Paul's message was for Israel as well. The two were brought together as one in this age. You will need to conclusively and convincingly prove your points with scripture....i.e. that Peter, John etc.. were of a different church with a different message, even a different 'church' then Samuel and David. for example.

Circumcision is by the law. Law is the schoolmaster. You cannot be saved by the law, but the law condemns. It shows us why we need a saviour.
Paul baptized some by water, too. Gentiles I suppose, I would have to look it back up to see who it was that he baptized. It is a mistake to think Paul never baptized by immersion. Scripture is clear that he did indeed baptized.
Lets say there are 2 messages for a moment, what are the differences in these 2 messages? I cant find any difference between Peters message and Pauls message.
As far as the one passage you quoted up there, about falling away and not being able to come back because of open shame to Jesus.
That was talking to Jews who had repented, been baptized, believed in Jesus as their messiah. These Jews were turning back to Judaism, back to sacrifice, out of fear. It was saying once you have made the step into Grace and Mercy, if you go back to what was before, you cannot return to Grace and Mercy again.
