One gospel, two groups of people. Because there are two groups of people, that does make two perspective views of the gospel. The bible is loaded with phrases and prophecies with double meanings.

Israel will see Jesus. They will believe. At the end of the tribulation.

Conversely, many over magnify what is being stated.

Who here is 'insisting' on following Peter? Undoubtably, this is directed at the RCC.

However, non Paulinists do not discount Peter, John et al, over Paul, as Paulinists seem to....which harkens back to Paul's own admonitions to refuse to let people cling to him like this. Paul states we follow Christ, whether it was the twelve or him they proclaimed the same message, and that is what non Paulinist dispensationalists state.---------Yep in 1st Corinthians written to those who join hard the synagogue(Acts18) and have all the signs showing it.Case in point obviously things in 1st Cor. need to be checked out of Paul's actual books written to just gentile churches who have no ties to the synagogue and proselyting to judaism.-------------------

As was already stated and proven, the "the gospel of the grace of God" was given to Israel firstly, as Paul clearly proved by his actions, and the Holy Spirit states unequivocally in His word.

It's not as if what is stated by this article is cause enough to correct it, what is not stated and related, folded in as a more complete theology forces a response. Until these sorts of issues are addressed in a way that acknowledges the dilemma, I feel I am hearing just a one sided pov.

One gospel, two groups of people.

Yep.

Mechaberean, you'll have to speak more clearly, I don't want to discern what you're trying to communicate, because it is truly not clear to me by your response to my post.

Mark16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved
Why does Mark 16 state they are condemned? Because they did not believe!

but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Not because they were not baptized but because they did not believe exactly why Jesus taught men would remain condemned:

18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. (John 3)

What did Paul and Silas reply when asked:

"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

They replied:

31They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."

So how did they teach a man is saved? By faith!

What was the result of them having believed? They were baptized with water:

32Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. (Acts 16)

Water baptism followed their having placed their belief/faith in Jesus.

What did Jesus say brings eternal life? Faith! (John 3:14-18; 6:40, 47).

What does faith in Jesus bring? Baptism of the Spirit.

What baptism places us in the body of Christ? Baptism of the Spirit!

13For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. (1 Cor. 12)

What allows one to receive baptism of the Spirit? One thing belief/faith in Jesus! (John 7:38-39; Eph. 1:13-14; Gal. 4:4-6).

God's word is clear:

And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

Therefore it is not baptism of water but baptism of the Spirit that leads to one being placed in the body of Christ. Who receives baptism of the Spirit? Only those who have truly placed their belief/faith in Jesus. Can anyone receive baptism by water? Yes! Why? Because baptism by water is accomplished by men. Can just anyone receive baptism of the Spirit? NO! Why not? Because baptism of the Spirit is accomplished by God. Clearly showing why baptism by water does not save.

What did Paul write:

6But the righteousness that is by faith says: "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10)

Who does this teach will be saved? Those who believe and call on the name of the Lord.

Adam was the first believer in the future Messiah that would come from Eve's seed.

At the time it was just Adam and Eve. Adam shows his belief in the future Messiah by calling Eve the mother of all living. In Gen 3:15 God says He will put enmity between the serpents seed and Eve's seed. Adam is looking forward to the seed that will come from Eve.

I agree with what you're saying. But for those who read your post I must clarify one point. The woman cannot have seed. In Genesis it is speaking about the descendants of Eve. The mother of Jesus could not have seed. She was overshadowed by the Holy Ghost thus the seed was from the Father. This is why Jesus could be called "Emmanuel" "God with us".

John7:38and 39 written to a Samaritan woman
It was not written to a Samaritan women for what does John 20 record as to why the Gospel of John was written:

30Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Now where do you see it stated this was written to a Samaritian women only? You don't!

1Cor.12:13 doesn't say they got the Spirit teh same way

I think you better read that verse again for it states:

13For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

Did you note the words: whether Jews or Greeks. What do those words imply? That both receive baptism of the Spirit the same say. And you would deny what this clearly states and teaches because..................

I suggest you read John 7 again for it states:

38Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." 39By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. (John 7)

and what does Eph. 1:13-14 state and teach:

13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory.

What do both passages teach is necessary for one to receive baptism of the Spirit? Belief/faith in Jesus. So how can you possibly claim God's word does not teach Jew and Gentile receive the Spirit the same way?

Who does God's word teach does not receive the Spirit? Unbelievers!

15"If you love me, you will obey what I command. 16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. (John 14)

What did Paul write:

9You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

Do Jewish believers belong to Christ? YES! Then they recieve the Spirit of God. How do they receive the Spirit of God? The same way all believers do by placing their faith in Jesus as Peter testified when he stated:

11"Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying. 12The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house. 13He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. 14He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'

15"As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. 16Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' 17So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?" (Acts 11)

Did you noted the words: the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning?

How then can you claim the Scripture does not teach they recieve the Spirit the same way? It that what this passage teaches? NO! Is that what John 7:38-39; Acts 10:34-11:17; Eph. 1:13-14 and Gal. 4:4-6 teaches? NO!

Eph. 3 is clear when it teaches:

6This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

Members of one body. How does 1 Cor. 12:13 teach they get to be included in that body? One way through baptism of the Spirit.

What does John 7:38-39 and Eph. 1:13-14 teach one must do to receive baptism of the Spirit? Believe/place their faith in Jesus as the scriptures say.

What does Gal. 3 clearly state:

26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians written to Gentiles Ephesians aren't Jews the yare a completely different city, and nation.
Ephesians may have been written and given to a church made up of mainly Gentile believers in the Ephesus area but what does it teach? That the body of Christ is made up of both Jewish and Gentile believers who have been made one body through the cross:

12remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
14For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

How does God's word teach a person is placed in that body? One way through baptism of the Spirit!

13For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

Who were baptized by the Spirit into the body? All believers Jews and Gentiles alike.

God said He would go to the Gentiles and He did DJhere as Israel rejected their messiah and became an enemy of the gospel God said come out from among all unbelievers and be not unequally yoked so Jews joined us. Excuse me it was not the Jews who joined us but we who are joined with the believing remnant of the Jewish nation:

13I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry 14in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

17If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." 20Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

22Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! (Romans 11)

Romans 4 teaches:

9Is this blessedness only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness. 10Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was not after, but before! 11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but have not been circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them. 12And he is also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

13It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. 14For if those who live by law are heirs, faith has no value and the promise is worthless, 15because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

16Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. 17As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

What does Eph. teach:

11Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called "uncircumcised" by those who call themselves "the circumcision" (that done in the body by the hands of men)— 12remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.

19Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. (Eph. 2)

Ephesians 3

1For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—
2Surely you have heard about the administration of God's grace that was given to me for you, 3that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. 4In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets. 6This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

How are we brought near? Through Jesus.

What nation did Jesus come through? The Jewish nation.

Who was the promise made to? Abraham.

Who was Jesus a descendant of? Abraham.

So the Jews do not join with us we join with them, specifically with their believing remnant for what does Romans 9 teach:

6It is not as though God's word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. 7Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham's children. On the contrary, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned." 8In other words, it is not the natural children who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring.

Who are the children of promise according to Romans 4? Those who come to God through faith!

Gal. 3 teaches:

26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

As for this statment:
And we see the Apostles stayed in Jerusalem by the great persecution that arose they were the only ones that stayed, and were martyered.
Are you trying to imply they stayed against God's will and were therefore killed?

I'll commend you on your persistence,DJHere, but I think BIH started this thread to explore Dispensationalism, but you seem determined to come out on top.
Looking at and studying what God's word states and teaches is not a contest where one comes out on top. It is a matter of speaking the truth in love. God's word does not teach there is a gospel for the Jews and one for the Gentiles. It teaches there is one gospel message which was preached and which all believed:

11Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Cor. 15)

That my friend is not a pet theory that is what the word of God states and teaches.

Only Paul's Gospel is unique and supercedes the message by Peter and the Disciples in this dispensation.
Peter, Paul, John and all the other apostles preached the same message as Paul testified when he wrote:

1Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

9For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Cor. 15)

Why do you refuse to listen to and believe what Paul himself stated?

God put the Jewish Nation in Abeyance until He reinstates it after the Rapture .
What does Romans 11 ask:

1I ask then: Did God reject his people?

What does it answer:

By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3"Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"? 4And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal." 5So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

How are the remnant chosen? By grace!

Romans 11 teaches:

God has not rejected the whole nation for there is still a believing remnant. How does this remnant get saved? By grace through faith! Thus showing there are not two gospels. Acts 15 shows there are not two gospels as well when it records:

5Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, "The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses."

6The apostles and elders met to consider this question. 7After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: "Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9He made no distinction between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? 11No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."

As for this:

Differences ? Miracles ceased .Signs ceased. Healings ceased.

Why did they cease? Perhaps Hebrews 2 can answer that for it records:

1We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

God allowed the apostles to do these things as a testimony to the fact the message they taught was true.

The Bible Knowledge Commentary explains:

The "salvation," of course, is the same as that just mentioned in 1:14 and alludes to the readers' potential share in the Son's triumphant dominion, in which He has "companions" (cf. 1:9). The Lord Jesus Himself, while on earth, spoke much of His future kingdom and the participation of His faithful followers in that reign (cf., e.g., Luke 12:31-32; 22:29-30). But this salvation experience, which was first announced by the Lord had also received confirmation through the various miracles and manifestations of the Spirit which His original auditors, those who heard Him, were empowered to exhibit. In speaking like this, the writer of Hebrews regarded these miracles as the powers of the coming Age (cf. Hebrews 6:5) and, in harmony with the early Christians in the Book of Acts, saw them as expressions of the sovereignty of the One who had gone to sit at God's right hand (cf. "sign," "wonders," and/or "miracles" in Acts 2:42; 4:30; 5:12; 6:8; 8:6, 13; 14:3; 15:12; also cf. 2 Cor. 12:12).

So the fact they ceased with the death of the apostles should not be surprising.

The Kingdom of Heaven(Christ on David's Throne )didn't Shortly follow .
Why didn't it follow shortly? Because that was not God's plan. What was God's plan? That the message of the Gospel be taken to the world (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 26:18).

4 things happened that may have been the catalyst that suspended the Hastening of the Messianic Kingdom and caused God to commission Paul instead .
The Kingdom not coming right away was part of God's plan all along, therefore, Paul was not commissioned instead of the kingdom coming but to fulfill God's plan (see Acts 13:26-41; 26:15-20).

1)They crucified their King.
And they did this in fulfillment of and according to God's word and His will (see Acts 2:12-41; 3:17-18; Acts 13:26-26-37).

2)They stoned Steven.."Ye always resist the Holy Ghost".(strike one) .
What was Stephens point? That they should not make the same mistake as their forefathers had, a fact noted by the Bible Knowledge Commentary when it explains:

Israel in its past always evidenced a pattern of opposition to God's plans and His men. This is the main point of Stephen's discourse, as its climax affirms (Acts 7:51-53). You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit! This theme is seen throughout the message, but there are some definite specifics. (a) Instead of going directly from Mesopotamia to the Promised Land, Abraham tarried in Haran (vv. 2-4). (b) Joseph was sold by his brothers into slavery in Egypt (v. 9). (c) Moses was rejected by the Israelites (vv. 23-29). It is highly significant that both Joseph and Moses were not accepted until their second appearances (vv. 13, 35-36). The parallel with Christ could not have escaped Stephen's hearers. (d) Israel rejected true worship by turning to idols (vv. 39-43). Her balant unbelief was seen in idolatry, a sin which the Jews of the Apostolic Age particularly abhorred. As a result God judged the nation by sending her into Exile in Babylon (v. 48). (e) The people of Israel missed the point of the temple (vv. 48-50). The strong and clear assertion of Stephen (v. 48) implies that the Jews believed the temple was God's dwelling place on earth, the Jewish couterpart to Mount Olympia. Indeed the temple was to be a place of worship and prayer; but it was not God's home (cf. 1 Kings 8:23-53).
Stephen's three main points in this discourse fit together. Since there is progression in God's program and since His blessings are not limited to the temple, Israel had better be careful not to "resist" (Acts 7:51) His workings as they had in the past. They would withstand God's purpose by refusing to see His work in the church and His blessing outside the borders of Israel. This defense related specifically to the accursation made against Stephen in 6:11-14.

3) They worshipped Herod.."It is the voice of a god and not a man"(strike two) .

Was this a strike against the nation? I don't think so for who alone died? Herod. What did their honoring Herod as God do? Showed the condition of their hearts. I guess my question to you would be if this was a strike against the nation why did only Herod die? In the past when the nation sinned the whole nation suffered the consequences not just one person (see Jer. 32:26-34).

4) They rejected Paul when he preached to the Jews first.."From henceforth we go to the Gentiles"(strike three, they're out,now God recognizes no national affilliation, male nor female , Jew or Gentile.)
Does God's word teach the Jews became Gentiles? NO! What does it teach? That the Jews and Gentiles became one body. In that body they are not seen as being Jew or Gentile but being one. Does that mean the Jews ceased to be Jews and the Gentiles ceased to be Gentiles? NO!

31They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." ----------- Paul is your key word in that scripture, again you think all things pull back to the cross and God's word is also a timeline from beginning to end.--------------

-----baptism always follwed in the Jewish New Testament church, John's baptism was to manifest Christ to Israel He is not manifested any other way at that time-----------

What does faith in Jesus bring? Baptism of the Spirit. ------Acts2:38 ;two baptism one to get the other plain as day-------------

What baptism places us in the body of Christ? Baptism of the Spirit!

13For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. (1 Cor. 12)-------but it still doesn't say we are given Him the same way, you have to add to God's word to say man gets the Spirit the same way and all men keep Him no matter what----------

What allows one to receive baptism of the Spirit? One thing belief/faith in Jesus! (John 7:38-39; Eph. 1:13-14; Gal. 4:4-6).--------Repentance and they needed NO faith He was right there in front of them; Faith in who He was is what they needed, we need faith in Him-----------

-------Acts2:38 obedience to John's baptism they follow Christ and the Spirit descended on Jesus at John's baptism and them also Acts2:38----------

Those who believe and call on the name of the Lord.--------------God's word is clear he that believes and is baptised will be saved. He that doesn't believe obviously won't be baptised the next step for them. He that believes AND IS BAPTISED will be saved. God must have been careless with words there for you DJ. threw a couple more in for fun.--------------
