I have been struggling financially for a long time. I've barely been treading water with my finances and every month, i seem to sink a little bit deeper. today I had a payday loan due that was over $400, it hadn't gone late yet, but would have been if i hadn't paid it today. I also have a rent payment that is around $800 that has already gone late. I also had to pay my babysitter $75 for this past week, and had a car payment for $276 that was over 30 days late. Well i had no idea how i was going to pay these bills that really all needed to be paid today. I had only a $400 paycheck and $200 child support check coming to me today.
So when i woke up this morning, i was sick with worry on how i was going to keep my head above water with these bills. When I dropped my son off at my mother's house this morning to catch the bus, she pulled me aside and handed me a check for $1000.00!!!!! She said that for her birthday this year, my uncle had been extremely generous with her and she wanted to pass some of that on to me also! Now, she knew nothing of those bills that were due today, i hadn't shared it with her because i knew her bills were tight also and that they probably couldn't afford to help me this month. And i was getting tried of asking them for money all the time anyway.
God saw my need and provided for me this month. I am now able to get caught up on my late bills and even have enough left over to put a full tank of gas in my car. Hopefully i am in more of a position now to start trying to get ahead on some of these bills! Praise God for loving me and keeping me. :yeah

So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
