Which is better?
i'm having a hard time figuring out who and what is on either of them.
their channel guides are very jumbly and i'm not finding it helpful.
i am mostly interested in conservative talk and Christian programming
do they have package deals like cable and satellite, or do you get all channels- even the ones i DO NOT want? can they be blocked by the receiver?

I have Sirius and get the FamNet Channel (all I listen too) I don't know if you can pick or choose, as far as a package goes, but you can on the channels. :) I heard they were going to merge :idunno

i hope they do merge!
Janet Parshall is on XM and Jan Markel is on Sirius...
oh, what to do? :ponder
i hope i can block (somehow) the nasty channels like the one that carries howard stern and i guess playboy :rolleyes even has a channel, how sick.
i just don't feel like coming across either of those unexpectedly, stern's mere voice makes me feel like i have the flu. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/icebear713/smilies/ack2.gif
i'm hoping i can get Hannity, Ingraham, Russ Humphries, Limbaugh, mike Gallagher.... and others i am forgetting and having a hard time typing... i need to cut my nails... :doh

Playboy channel is extra. The ONLY reason I know that is they ASK you if you want it...no thank you...Howard Stern has a few channels. BUT...you don't hit it by accident. You have to select a couple of buttons. http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm139/tlsnelson/smiley/phew.gif

ok... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/icebear713/smilies/whew.gif i have never toyed with the channel selector thingie i assumed it was like flipping tv channels.... you can type them in or go from zero to the end...
if the nasties are easily avoidable or require a special subscription...then that is dandy to me :thumb

we went ahead and paid up for a year and the hubby bought a receiver kit thingie from Best Buy (i think)...
i've been listening to the Patriot channel and its really good.
if we like it and use it for the full year, we will get a lifetime subscription at that point.
so far it seems like it will be very nice to have, i can listen online too- which is what i'm doing, and since its on my laptop and we are wireless i can take it all through the house, very cool!

I have XM and I love it.
I have it at work, in my car, and at home.
