Send Hollywood a message and support Christian movies by seeing Fireproof with Kirk Cameron. It opens Sept. 26th all over the U.S. It may only be in theaters for about a week though. I have seen the trailer and the movie looks totally awesome. Check out the website and click on his and hers. The movie is about marriages with some comedy thrown in. I am looking forward to seeing this evangelizing movie. See ya at the show!:thumb:wave

I saw it a couple of months ago...it is really good. Not really "hollywood" enough, but a great story and ministry tool.

Our church has 1000 tickets for the members and their families for next week.
We cant wait to see it.
The movie seems to be a lot like what our marriage is going through right now.
It even impressed our old fashioned preacher so much that he bought tickets for everyone.
I assure you he isnt very easily impressed....he is very enthusiastic about it.
Its a pre-viewing and all the other churches in the area are calling our church asking for tickets,
we will share if there are any left over of course.

they mentioned the movie Fireproof and Kirk Cameron on their show in the last couple of days

I watched the trailer and am pondering whether or not it would be worthwhile to take my wife. She's a pretender who has never cared a lick about me or our children. A passive aggressive adulterous and cavorter with men other than her husband. If it might cause her to look inward towards her life and perhaps help her to see herself for what she is, and help to see that she needs Jesus, and alas, her husband and family who have not abandoned her... I would take her, but by the trailer alone I could not decide if it would be of value in our particular case. For those who've seen it, should I take her?

Tall Timbers, I really dont think it could hurt.
Surely there could be something in the movie for any couple
from what Ive seen and read about it.
We will see the movie next Friday the 26th.
By the way, you are a great man for loving your kids like that.
It would be easy to allow them to suffer some of your pain
even if unintentional, under such circumstances.
They are lucky to have you, sounds like.
A man who knows they are innocent.
Cute pic of you and your daughter too!

Hey man.. I've seen the traliers and thats all... You know the movie is based from a book called the "Lovedare".. I plan on reading that in the near future.. I'd say take her... A movie is not going to fix everything.. but it can't hurt... Man... I'm going to pray for you... My marriage ended 4 years ago because of my wife having an affair... We didn't have any kids... I can't imagine going through what you are... I don't have that much strength concerning things like that... My hurts won't let me.. Your a very strong man, and I know your strength comes from God... I'm praying for you
