That was a UCC commercial.

God wants all people to accept Him. He is immutable.

His standard is.... Perfection.

But that is the unique and propriatary gift of Jesus. No one else has it. No one else can give it to us.

It's funny, but 10 years ago, the media was afraid to even mention God. Now everytime I hear God mentioned it's in reference to stuff like this. The Bible teaches that we as fallen beings are only "accepted in the Beloved" (Eph. 1: 6)-- that is, IN CHRIST.
