The kind with the glass liner.

Haven't used one since I was a kid, so please don't think I've just arrived from another planet by asking this.:fear

Does cold milk stay fresh in them?

Hubbys claims that milk curdles in it due to the chemical reaction in the liner.

I told him that I remember my classmates drinking cold milk from theirs without any problems.

What say you, Ladies???

Fill clean thermos with cold water. If you have refrigerated water, use it. Leave it for a minute or two. Pour out water and refill with milk. Your milk will be cold and delicious.

if its glass lined, there won't be any chemical reaction. if its stainless steel lined there won't be any either, same with plastic lined. those are the only types of thermoses i have seen...

not sure what your hubby is thinking of, but i doubt its the same thing. maybe he's remembering his boyscout canteen...?

Where would you find a glass lined thermos? A camping store?

With all the scares about contaminated plastic in baby bottles, maybe we should look to our thermos too.
