Madden 09

Does anybody like playing the Madden Series? I have been playing it for a while now. Do you like the new game?

I have always enjoyed the Madden series, however, I have not tried the new one. Work gets in the way.

I think '09 is showing that the franchise is going in a positive, new direction. At first glance it's not much different, but the running game is a lot more fluid, the passing game actually feels like a passing game, and the animations, celebrations, and new stadium in-depth feel all work great. Now that the series is entrenched in the next generation of consoles (360, PS3, Wii) I think we're going to be seeing it only get better from here on out. It's always a little shaky when making the jump to the next generation, so I think we have a solid 3-4 years of positive, growing in quality games in store for us!

I wish they'd add an expansion mode and NCAA's ice the kicking feature next year, though.

They have already started the titles for the next two years, no fear..plenty of Madden yet to come.
