I highly recommend reading the Heavenly Man. Its the story of the conversion of a young man in China. It tells of persecution and his imprisonment. He undergoes so much adversity and yet you can really see the Lord's activity in his life and the lives of others. This book makes American Christianity look like Hollywood. You can't help to evaluate your own personal walk with the Lord after reading this book. A must read that you won't want to put down.
