Apostasy, eh?

Well If we're going to talk apostate here, let's start with Oprah and her 'spirituality'.

A woman with that much power deciding to take the lead in 'healing' our nation away from Christ is pure trouble, if you ask me. She certain 'professes a form of Godliness' but totally lacks the power thereof.

I was getting into the habit of refering to her as the Messiah of the Church of Oprah. Not that she thinks she is such but if you watch the faces of her audience it appears THEY think so.

I didn't watch the video but I've seen enough of her shows to know all about the "All roads lead to God" sermons she :tsk preaches.

She apparently condoned the book "The Secret". The problem is that Christians are buying into that as well. I have a good friend who is Christian that wanted me to read it to help me have a "positive attitude". She knows that it is new-agey and she says that she keeps that in mind but things have a way of sticking, ya know?

Oprah, she needs our prayer.

One thing I will agree with her is that it is good to have a loving, kind, generous heart... HOWEVER, she IS missing the whole point. Works don't get us into heaven.... ONLY JESUS!! Satan is very good in his tactics to getting everyone off track, isn't he?

Lord, we ask that you open the eyes of all those that are leading your children astray. Father you said in your word that false Christs, and false prophets would show great signs and wonders. And that if it was possible they would deceive the very elect.
So Father we ask that you not only open the eyes of your children, but that you would move upon the deceivers. We ask Lord you not only touch Ophrah’s life but those that follow her. Let those that look upon her not see her money, fame, or power, Lord let them see with the eyes you have open to the path of destruction. Lord we know the time here is short, and we need to be vigilant. We ask Lord you would use us for your glory and honor. In Jesus name we ask. AMEN and AMEN
