Tower of Power wouldn't be labeled a 'Christian Music' band.
They do play self-described 'soul' music, though.
I've followed them for most of their 40 years. Still together as of today!

I guess my question and comment would be:
Is it OK to be so filled with joy by the sound of this band? because they really are a sight and sound to see and hear! :yeah

The music and performance really does dig down to my soul when I attend a live concert and the music has been with me most of my adult life, so it is a part of me and my experience.

Just wondering if the folks here have other ( read secular ) music that truly touches their soul and makes them appreciate the talent and gift of one of God's finest creations...music itself.

Being unfamiliar with the band in question I decided to watch a video from their site. They certainly make a joyous sound. I do appreciate secular music such as the example below. I have no idea what he was thinking when he composed it, but to me it is beautiful and amazing.
