For the third year, we set up camp in a booth at a business expo at a hugh fair in town. (Just outside Dallas) Me, 2 guys from the great news network, and their kids gave out thousand of tracts from WOTM in just a few hours. Prayers were answered, that God would put those in out path that needed to be there. God gave us a stream of people, all willing to discuss their standing with God.

The one to one witnessing encounters were great. So many people, thanks us for talking with them and explaining things they had never heard, about sin (via the commandments) and why God demands a payment for sin (through Christ).

We had several encounters with people of various faiths, Mormons, JW's, and various spin off's of self created gods, and not one person walked away from hearing the gospel full presented. (aside from one angry agonstic, but we still got some seeds in the conscience planted)

The day could not have been better. Across from us, was another church with spanish speakers, using WOTM tracts in spanish, speaking to the ones I couldn't. They also had a very blessed day.

I'm still on clound 9. It was such a recharge for me. We are headed back out tomorrow with the tracks and cd's we have left. I thank God for the people God sent (at the very last minute) that knew witnessing from every angle. God placed such protection around us, not a single person threw an insult or a curse word at us. (very rare) Until you see somone understand the gospel, and see their need for God's forgiveness, you can't understand the true joy you feel in your heart from seeing somone pass from death to life.

I serious had my doubts about God every having a use for me. But as one friend pointed out, God used a donkey, and i'm a much bigger a.... well, he was right anyway....

:woohoo God uses all of us to do His Work, it's wonderful that you had the opportunity to really see for yourself what an impact you have on others when you let God use you to spread His Word.

Awesome job! :thumbup

Update: Round two...

God wasn't finished with us. We set up at another spot we were invited to use by a local church. At 1PM, we had a stream of people passing by our booth. A church member brought her giant sheep looking dog, which by itself, drew people up to our booth, generating good conversations.

Then...

At 2:45, the churches band started setting up their gear for their stage show in the park, with a few hundred people around. (and WAM!) They had a ten minute break between set up and their show, and they offered to let us open air with the system!

We got some cash up, they called it out in the PA anouncements that we were having a money give away for triva. (anyone who has seen WOTM knows what we were doing) We gave out money for triva questions, building the crowd way, way up. Rick, my well trained partner took the mic while I passed out the cash. (I got the easy job) Then when the crowd was pumped up, out came the 20 for the good person test. We got the best person for the test, an older woman came up, and as Rick slowly went through the commandments, the crowd followed along intently. Rick went though the whole process, showed what sin was, and explained that repentance alone was not enough, and God demands payment.

Rick explained to the crowd how we all broke God's law, and Christ came and took our punishment on Himself, paying our debt. He explained how one needed Christ in order to have their personal debt paid.

After that the band came on, but some people came by and spoke to us privately, and many said they had not heard the gospel given in such a simple way, and thanked Rick for speaking. (although, we know God set that whole event up)

We had another good day, and God, again, placed everyone where they were needed, and suprised us with larger open doors than we saw at the time.

Pray for the people that got tracts, or were witnessed too over the last 2 days there. I don't know what God will do with seeds, but I pray God waters them with someone else along the way.

Dan~~~>can't wait for First Monday in Canton next Sunday:thumbup

Way to go, Dan! I am so inspired by this. My attempts lately have been met by 'I'm baptized, I'm good' and 'I don't believe in God' type responses and I've been discouraged.

For me, witnessing in these last days gets easier and easier. Walking up to strangers is not scary, when you picture them as "lost" and in need of our Savior. What do I have to lose? Nothing, I have already gained everything.
I've noticed one thing, though.......in the five years since coming back to my walk with Jesus, nobody has ever come up to me to witness or hand me a tract. If we are the body........why aren't more bringing about His Kingdom?
