Growing In Grace cult

Hello everyone - I'm new to the message boards but have been reading RR for a long time. :hat

I saw a documentary on this cult the other night & It made me sick to my stomach. This Dr. Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda (ex-junkie and convict) is EVIL EVIL EVIL. First he was claiming he was Jesus in the flesh, and NOW he's saying he's the Antichrist!!!! He, & most of his followers, have even had 666 tattooed on their bodies, because, according to Miranda, 666 is a "number of prosperity" and "people misunderstood its meaning in the Bible".:faint He's telling his 100,000+ followers to reject Jesus of Nazareth and to no longer worship Christ because he, Miranda, is the "new" jesus and there is no need to worship the "old" Jesus. He also says there's no sin, hell, or the Devil.

Now, I don't believe the Antichrist's coming is going to be this blatant, but man this guy and his followers are everywhere and their numbers are growing at a rapid pace. There's been a lot of false christs in this world, but I think this lunatic takes the cake. Has anyone else heard of him?

Yes I have heard of him, he has been around now for some time & has built up quite a following. Though he is just the same as people like Benny Hill, whoops sorry Hinn. Lots of others like him, these people are springing up all over the place & they are just like all false teachers, very good at tickling ears. They tell those who follow them what they want to hear & not what they should be hearing. What nicer thing to be told, than that there is no sin!!! so you can do what ever you think or like to do & there is nothing wrong in it at all. So that as it does appeals to all the perverts & deviants out there. So there are many through out the world like him & there will be many more in the future. Mind you after saying that, there is a very good pointer that this leads us too & that is all these who are doing this. The amount of them that there are, the facts of all that is happening through out the whole world that go hand in hand with these people & there kind. That tells us that we are indeed in the end times & we are again in the age of Laodicea & so, we should know that we need to look up & keep watching for our Lord & Savour, as we will be soon being called home.
