ECB liquidity injections not working

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - The billions of euros the European Central Bank has been injecting into money markets since the start of the crisis in an attempt to get banks to start loaning money to each other and other businesses is not working.

Instead, banks are redepositing some of the monies back with the ECB itself - over €100 billion overnight as of Tuesday (30 September - the latest available figures) - as they are worried that the central bank is the last safe place left to stash their cash...

My comments: If European banks are stuffing cash back into the central bank "mattress" that means there is no confidence in the system. This does not look good. Without faith it is impossible to...

This crisis is worldwide. It appears that the foundation for the Anti-Christ and the One World Economy and Government is being laid. Surely, it can't be long now before our Lord comes for us.

I thought it would have been cool if the Lord had come last night during the debate and Palin disappeared before a national tv audience.

Surely some Christians will be be on live TV when Jesus returns. How cool will that be to capture the rapture on film or at least the vanquishing. I bet that tape is confiscated by the government.

Yep... sounds like the exact same thing is going to happen to us. They figure lets hit the restart button on the stock market by making sure banks have money to lend... instead I would believe that people, banks, companies are going to start HORDING instead of LENDING.

Which leaves us the need for an entirely new system of trade... who knows maybe it could be like an electronic chip or something...

Hal Lindsey wrote a great article today that was sent in "Prophecy Update" about the Federal Reserve's banking cartel and how this whole thing is like a trillion dollar game of chicken!

People think the Fed. reserve is a government agency, but it is actually a government backed banking cartel, that was started on Jeckyll Island - a privately owned island in secret...

I'd like to think that all this means Jesus will come for us very soon, but on another thread someone wrote about the 'labor pains", and reminded all of us that while the labor pains come more frequently and stronger over time, ultimately the birthing process ends up with a period of sustained pain before the actual birth. I think we're still in the labor pain part, and that it will still have to get a lot worse before the rapture. I pray for our country and for those who are unsaved - something that has been very heavy on my heart lately. :pray

There is a good book written several years ago about the creation of the Fed and how it operates called, "The Creature from Jekyll Island," if I remember the name correctly.
