You all need to come to my house and have some Puertorican food that my mom makes.....sometimes it still feels good to live with mom :yeah (im 19 so no I am not a pathetic 40 year old dude still living with mom lol) but yea I am going to ask her how she makes it and post it here to pass on the traditional dishes!

Brother, I am on my way. I grew up in Miami and I miss the Cuban and Puerto Rican food my girlfriends used to make. Although, I have learned how to make picadillo (my favorite) I never did master making papas rellenos or plantanos maduros. We have a great Cuban restaurant here and I go every chance I get but it is not the same as sitting around the table with friends.
