Financial "Messiah"

The thought has occurred to me over the past several days that the current world-wide financial crisis is a prime opportunity for the devil to bring forth the anti-christ in the form of a financial "messiah".
If someone stepped forward during these current times with 'the answers' to the worlds financial problems it would be a certain guarantee of his or her acceptance to the entire world and certainly every country would bow down to his or her suggestions and philosophies.
The door would be open to that individual to literally rule the world as the devil desired................

It could be that this whole crisis has been created by a couple of Powers that Be in order to usher in the new One World Currency.

I could see it being a precursor to the things you mention - but honestly, I have a feeling that the enemy will bring people to their knees in a very base way, with literal hunger and desperation for their own lives, and then hold a bag of bread in his hand, watching people salivate as he smiles gently and bends down to feed them from his own hand. I believe they will at first be willing to worship him, not because they truly believe he is god, but because of their own survival instincts. He will meet their physical needs, and then having done that he will have won a certain place in their hearts and they will be more willing to follow with loyalty, even if they sense something is amiss.

I pray that our current situation is just a warning bell and a wake up call for our nation, but I fear it is not only that.


I believe that right now we are only seeing a foreshadowing...
