The other day I saw someone post a verse that went something like this if i remember correctly.
"that they may know who they really are"
Can anyone tell me what verse and what it actually says. It's been a thorn in my said for the last week. lol

I think it was about us after the rapture or something. I just saw it on here a couple days back. I think it was in Romans.

Don't know if this is what you were looking for:
1 John 2:19

They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.

I'm not sure, but might you be referring to Romans 8:18-19? "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God."

1 John 3:2 (King James Version)
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Rom 12:3 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
