It would seem if the beast and false prophet and were still in the lake of fire after a thousand years then they will remain there and "be tormented day and night for ever and ever."...along with Takers of the Mark. Those are clearly stated.

These are the verses that I keep coming back to as well. "The fire is not quenched." Jesus quoted Isaiah the prophet. Isaiah only said it once. Jesus said it 3 times. I personally need to pay heed to anything my Savior wanted to tell me repeatedly. You are neither the Fire nor are you the Worm.
I agree about Jesus repeating the warning 3 times though. Hell (gehenna) is a place you do NOT want to go...

Just the fact that there is fire that is never quenched is freaky enough.

No difference? Scripture seems to say otherwise.
I'm surprise you would say that. Question: Does any of us apart from God's grace in salvation (apart from Christ) have the ability to be as wicked as Hitler?
Wrath can persist even after its target is gone. Your reference to Hitler demonstrates this.
Well, either wrath will exist in hell (where there will be a place for it) or it will not exist at all. We are told that God will have a new Heavens and a new Earth. We aren't told that the new Heaven and earth will have traces of God's wrath, but infact the opposite.
Hell is eternal. I already stated that several times.
At least you remain biblical and orthodox on this issue. Good!
As far as 'everlasting punishment' is concerned... Once punished, always punished.
God's justice requires no more or no less than what sin deserves. Therefore, we can rest assure that the just judge of the universe will do what is right. That said however, I feel that too many people fail to see the extremely wicked and grotesque nature of sin. God is holy and perfect. Any sin, no matter how "small" is an infinite offense against his holy nature. God kills because of sin. Look what he did to Jesus. Imagine what it will be like for those who reject God's grace.

Well, either wrath will exist in hell (where there will be a place for it) or it will not exist at all. 'Wrath' isnt an attribute of 'place'. Wrath is the regard of one upon another.

You didn't answer the question. Apart from the grace of God, do you have the abality to be as wicked as Hitler and worse? The answer is of course and emphatic yes. You are not as wicked as you can be, neither am I, and neither was Hitler. The grace of God prevents us from be utterly wicked, though we may be totally depraved.
'Wrath' isnt an attribute of 'place'. Wrath is the regard of one upon another.
Actually, wrath is an attribute of God. Furthermore, I would go as far as to say that the two most discussed attributes of God, as described in the Bible, are Love and Wrath. I pray that more Christians would study the attributes of God and so know their God. Most Christians, I believe, know much about their God without knowing him. And what's worse, they seem fine with that.

Finally got a chance to read it. Good article.
I like these points - our beliefs about the duration of Hell are not on the plane of cardinal doctrine.
Whatever we conclude from the Scriptures about the duration of Hell, we must remember that Hell is to be avoided at all costs. Whether the wicked suffer there eternally or are destroyed after enduring God's terrible punishment, Hell is an unimaginably terrifying place.
