They made it-first time since '93. We won't talk about what happened in '93. Okay? Let's just say I still can't watch Mitch Williams do his commentary without gritting my teeth. But hey i also can't look at McNabb the same anymore either after he blew the super bowl! Hope we can finish the Sox or the Rays!

I am very excited for the Phillies. I grew up in South Jersey and moved to Colorado in 2003. My wife is a huge Rockies fan and last year the gloves came off when they played each other. :lol2 I now live in Tennessee, so we are on "neutral ground". The Rockies did not fair well this year, hehe. My wife wants the Phillies to take it all too. I just looked at the TB v Boston game and it is 5-0 TB in the 7th....

I'm excited for the Phillies--but--I'd have to route for the Rays if they win the AL title. The Rays have been a weak sister since their inception and now is their chance to shine.

I agree. If the Rays are going to win, they need to do it now...because the Yankees are pretty mad about not making the playoffs. So, the anger along with the added revenue from the new Yankee stadium could mean that this offseason the Yankees may try to "buy" another world series title by signing all the top free agents.

Well, I grew up in Clearwater and we would ride our bikes the the Phillies spring training games. In the "old days" I would have adopted them as my home team...

We did not have a home team back in the 70's

But, We have now our beloved Rays !!!!!!!

So I will be rooting for the Rays. I am very excited, none the less, that they will be facing the Phillies.

I am pulling for the Phillies even though I grew up a Pirate fan. I must admit I was not much of a Philly fan back in the day when Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt and Larry Bowa were on the roster.

Well, Philly has a chance to win it at home. I've been rooting for the Rays both because of their perrenial underdog status and I'm from Florida and the Marlins didn't make it. I just have indifference for Philly though the series itself has been phenomenal regardless of who wins. I would like to see the Rays win one more.
