I didn't want to leave you, but you knew I wouldn't stay.
The precious Love of Jesus has raptured me away.
I begged you to come with us, to take Him in your heart;
but you never would believe in Him and now we are apart.
I cried so many times in life, before this Great Event;
praying you would open up, believe, and then repent.
You said you couldn't do it, in all your honesty:
to believe in your heart what your eyes couldn't see.
I tried to convince you with the Bible as my proof;
but you didn't want to hear...it made you angry and aloof.
I felt the lonely distance that my love couldn't reach,
Every time you looked at me and told me not to preach.
So now you're going to suffer Tribulation on your own;
the worst circumstances that the world has ever known.
Remember what I told you and NEVER take the mark;
no matter how deep the hunger, or coldness of the dark.
You have the strength to make the choice, and do know right from wrong.
But chose to ignore the voice of He who made you strong.
This will be your final chance to call upon His name;
and you'll be martyred for it, but released from all your shame.
I hope to see you later with a palm branch and white robe;
but only you can make the choice to think outside the globe.
