I dunno if this has been done yet, so here goes. :D

My favorite character is Samwise - he turns out to be a true and loyal friend and servant, and fittingly closes the final chapter in the trilogy.

Had to put 'none of the above' because I've never seen it:)

:lol2....maybe I would dig it. I just haven't really ever felt a great urge to see it. Maybe I'll have to look into it and see what it's all about...:)

It's time to do an Extended Version LOTR Weekend again...just got to figure out when I have 13 hours to spare...:lol2

If you watch it you have to watch the extended versions...absolute necessity if you really want to know what is going on. Peter Jackson cut too much out of the 2nd and 3rd theatrical versions, and 1 very essential scene in the first (the meeting with Galadrial, and the gifts she gave the heroes).

Excellent story...Biblical allegory is, IMO, very intriging.

I put none of the above also. I can't stay awake long enough when watching it to figure out what it is about. It's definitely a cure for insomnia.

I've got the extended version too! :yay I've seen it twice so I figure that's 26 hours LOTRed at home! :lol2

I really like the way Boromir's role was treated in the extended version. :thumb It might be a stretch, but Boromir reminded me of Peter the Apostle. Both of them failed a key test in their lives: whereas Peter had a second chance, Boromir could only redeem himself in a valiant death.

Did you noticed no one has picked poor Frodo so far? I've read on another board that he's not a fav 'coz he's too whiny! :heh

Hmm...maybe I shoulda added Boromir to the choices instead of Sauron, that was just a lark! :lol2
