Trick or treaters

What are you all passing out to the little ones? I am thinking about getting some candy, some chick tracts and some pocket sized Bibles.

Where I live (a student trailer park), we don't have many kids so I doubt we'll get any trick or treaters. But I would give out candy with some Chick tracts. They have some specifically for halloween. Living Waters (http://www.livingwaters.com) also has some halloween-specific tracts, and they're a little cheaper...

We live out in the middle of nowhere. The first halloween here I lit a pumpkin, put in at the foot of our driveway (which is 1/5 mile long), and placed a large bowl of candy in front of it. We then proceeded to drive into town into a neighorhood where our kids could go door to door and collect a lot of loot. When we came back the candy bowl was untouched. My kids like getting the Christian tracts... but they seem to get the same ones over and over again each year.

I just bought 200 of the BIG MONEY tracts. I am going to tape a "very" folded one onto some Hot Tamales and Mike and Ikes!

Have you ever stolen something (irrespective of its value)? Then you are a thief. If you have told just one lie (even if you call it "white"), you are a liar, and cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Listen to your conscience. The Law leaves us all sinners in God's sight. On Judgment Day we will be found guilty, and end up in Hell forever, but because Jesus paid our fine on the Cross 2,000 years ago, God can forgive us. The Bible says, "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Then He rose from the dead, and defeated the power of the grave. If you repent and trust the Savior, God will forgive your sins and grant you everlasting life. Confess your sins to God, put your faith in Jesus Christ, then read the Bible daily and obey what you read. Think of the words on this bill: "IN GOD WE TRUST." He will never let you down. Six people on the bill: Ben Franklin, the Treasurer, the Secretary, two in front of the clock, and of course, God.
