This work of fiction by Francine Rivers really gives you a glimpse in the seeker friendly church. The story is about a young pastor who seeks the approval of his father who is a pastor of a mega church. When the young pastor is called to a small struggling church, things seem to go well for a while until he loses his focus on whats really important. He begins placing importance on a bigger and better building and acquiring a huge congregation. In the process the pure gospel message is lost and not only that but he begins to lose his wife and son also. This story shows what happens when people takes their eyes off of Christ.

I bought "The Schofar Blew" today. I have gotten to the 3rd chapter. It looks like it will be a good book. Thanks for the suggestion.:hat
