I have been trying to load a song from my itunes to a website that accepts mp3's on your homepage. Problem is, when I try to take it from itunes and upload it, it says it is an mp4 and is not accepted. Is there a way to convert it so that it uploads as an mp3? Do I have to export it from my itunes? I am a noob with this, so any help would be appreciated!!!!! :hat

Yeah, I do. I don't get it because I keep trying to convert it and it remains as an mp4. :scratch That is how itunes saves it in your library for some reason....yet they are "called" mp3's.

I will ask hubby if he knows... he might not because he just sticks people CD's in his computer, not sure if he is downloaded any music.

I appreciate that! It would be different if I owned the cd, because for some reason the downloads directly from the itunes store are the ones doing this- not my uploads from my personal cd collection. :scratch

You should be able to right click on the song (within itunes) and select "convert to MP3."
Also, any music you DL from the itunes store, be sure to select the DRM free version. It makes it a whole lot easier to convert and port to websites and the such. Also, if you are looking for an easier solution to applying music to a site without uploading... try http://www.playlist.com
There is a lot of Christian music available and it works great with whatever site you are putting their player in. Most people who use MySpace.com or HisHolySpace.com use this and it is perfect.

You'll have to pay extra to get that though. You might want to try using a DRM-free music store like Amazon.
