Its really cool to not have to keep up with cigs and a lighter...now its just my keys, billfold, and cell phone.
I really enjoy going to the gas station now and not buying a cartoon or marlboro when Im there.

I just love how we can encourage each other it makes it so much easier and I thank you for digging up this old thread, because it was this that made me want to quit, God had been speaking to me and he brought me to this thread just at the right time!!! My old doctor asked if I would try Wellbutrin as it has been sucessful for getting people to quit. I said sure. Mind you, I did NOT WANT to quit, but the medication made it so I didn't want one and when (in my stubborness) I would try to, they didn't even taste good. I can't take the med now, but I tell you...If you WANT to quit I highly recommend you talk to your doctor about this, it REALLY works and that is from someone who is not one who is willing to give up the habit just yet.

I made it 6 months on wellbutrin once...now my hmo wont cover it and it was like $160! They will shell out thousands for my lung cancer later though..:idunno

Zyban works well too I heard. Nicorette, the patch, cold turkey...whatever someone can do its worththe effort to improve your testimony, your health, save money...stop burning holes in stuff..stinking up your car...etc...lol

No2flesh I'm sorry I wasn't here for you when the urge hit:hug, but I will pass along my secret, (Not really mine but GOD is always the 1st person we should go to) when the urge hits I carry a small pocket bible and read scripture :scripture and the urge disapears!!:thumb Hope this helps?
