...for all of those on the prayer list.
So many have not been posted,
and we are so thrilled with those
who have been faithful posting
and are doing great and some
of you have started again or
planning to starting again. Thanks
for your post, we appreciate each
Maybe you are busy this summer and
don't post very often. Maybe you are
ashamed that you have fallen off and
we would love to say we are praying
for all of you in whatever your stage
of being a non-smoker winner is!
It would be a blessing to share your
testimony for all to be blessed and to
praise/pray for you!
Hugs and prayers to all!

Good for you!! Yes, I will keep you in my prayers. Read over the past threads of how others have gone to battle to be free of this addiction. For me, I needed to fall off the horse a couple times to realize that I needed medication, I didn't want to take meds. But I did it and it helped me stay focused on getting through. I drank and still drink lots and lots of water. Pretzels were helpful for a couple weeks and got me through humps. I came to this thread many many times daily, looking at all the support, asking for prayers, writing my prayers. I don't know what I would have done without this fellowship and support. I was so scared, so afraid that I would loose my personality, I smoked for so long, how could I be me without a cigarette? I went through so many emotions, but before I knew it, I realized I was going to be alright, I learned to laugh again, I found I had more time on my hands. Do you realize how much time we waist smoking? Wow! I try to fill it with service to God, my Church, my family, etc. My witness is no longer filled with guilt. I feel the presence of God in my life every day now, He has carried me, held my hand, wiped my tears, and loved me. May you find your journey is also filled with wonderful surprises, new awakenings, a stronger spirit, and a deeper love and understanding of the wonderful life God had given us. God be with you, and praying for you.

I'm back and ready to fight.....I have been quit for the first dreaded 3 days now! I have laid this at the Lord's feet and haven't even wanted to use my nicotine gum (tastes good but gives me the hiccups/burps). Feel so much better. I was finally getting to where smoking wasn't even fun anymore, you just feel so enslaved to it, kwim? Lord knows it was time for me to quit. So here I am and I feel great!!

I'm no quitter, I'm a sticker! I stick with my quit. I'm a quitsticker!
I was given permission from an ex-smoker who thought this up!
What do you think of it?
The ex-smoker winner has had several set-backs, but has been
smoke-free for over a year!
read the Bible
drink plenty of water
become a full-fledged quitsticker!
