Dear rr/stop smoking praise family...Today marks my 2 year smoke free anniversary!!!:yeah Thanks to the Lord and the prayers and support of all of you I made it to this point. To recap-I quit after 30 plus years! To anyone out there thinking they don't have the strength-none of us do, but God does, and he will help you too!!! Thanks again and all my love to you,:hug Cathy

Well I am off for another wonderful weekend with my grandchildren. Praising God when I go to visit them, I DON'T have to go outside to smoke anymore! More time with the precious ones! Have a great weekend everyone! Prayers still going to heaven for us all! It really is great to be a quitter! Tee Hee!

Not a smoker myself but experience daily what smoke can do... My FIL is dying slowly and we feel so helpless when he battles for air. He is 24 hours on a aid machine and it is hard to see....:crying.:pray:pray:pray for all of you.

Precious, you have made a wonderful decision! Praising God for touching your heart, letting you know, "It is time".... A different world is about to open up to you, and the amazing part is, it isn't like you think it will be. If you read back on when I quit smoking, I was so full of fears of the unknown. And none of the unknowns happened. The Lord was and still is right there beside me, just like he always was, but I just wasn't seeing him. Are you using any kind of help, (patches, etc)? If you need an ear, feel free to PM me, or really I think any one of us non-smokers would be more than happy to hold your hand, give you a shoulder to cry on, and most of all we will be there to encourage you, praise you and give all the glory to God the Father! You will be lifted up in prayer more than you could possibly imagine. The fight is spirit against flesh. It is very much worth the fight! The rewards are so amazing. Give a praise out to the Lord daily, he isn't about to leave you alone, keep a prayer journal, look back daily and see the miracles happening in your life. Our God IS an awsome God! Smile, your witness for Him has just gotten stronger! Keeping you lifted in prayer!
