Does anyone know where our prayer warrior Mary is?
Haven't seen her around in a while. You know what makes Mary so special is that she's never smoked. The Lord put her here for us. She cares enough to pray for and encourage ones that have already quit and others that are struggling to. :idunno:scratch:panic:ohno:nope

I feel so incredible Cherished, that I just cannot explain it, but I agree with
JBO, after the first few days it is mind over matter or in my case I prayed hard!! I am now on Day 12 and I will probably celebrate everyday, Praise Jesus for giving me the strength to do this, I handed it to Him and said please Lord take this from me, I can't do this myself. I will be :pray for all of you, and especially graybeard, as those first few days are the hardest. :hug

I am spending the day relaxing, praying, resting, daydreaming, rejoicing and withdrawing from normal life for a day. It is a beautiful day of peace and quiet.
My batteries are almost full again. It is so much easier to rest when you know there are true hearts for God that are praying for you. :hug

If you can go one day, you can go two. Our Lord is with you, and so are my prayers. :cheer
Day two is done.
I'm drinking cranberry/pomegranate juice, and chewed several pieces of the most nasty nicorette gum. Jesus is on this for me. thanks for your help as well.:hat

Day three done. Had some cravings today, as I went back to work. Couple more pieces of the nasty gum. As nasty as that stuff is is proving to be a great incentive to get the nasty habit behind me for good.
I am sitting here enjoying a beer, and not angsting for a smoke. Jesus RULES!
