Wow, it has been 5 or 6 mos, one relapse. I did get a cig and took 3 puffs, but I really didnt want it, my mind did, but when I got it and took those puffs, my body was like, what do you think you are doing???? You cant trust your mind sometimes.

Resist the devil and he will flee from you!!!

I stumbled on to this thread today! (and at such a great time for me also!) I have been off of them for 3 days now. I used Chantix! I have been taking the medicine for a month now and there are days I have smoked and days I haven't. However, my sister told me to quit cheating....so I am giving it my all this time. I have smoked for 30 years...after promising myself I would quit after 20. I started when I was 13. (I thought I was cool! :rolleyes)

Chantix is the best thing I have ever tried. I have never done as well at quiting as I have this time. It bothers me but not alot. I am bored in the evenings...and I have gained some weight but I figure I lose it when I am done with this.
