I'm praying for all you brave people who are doing the hardest thing you may have ever done in your life, stop smoking. You are all to be congratulated!:yeah

I quit smoking on April 25, 1996. If my math is correct, that would be 12 years ago. I know the turmoil your body and mind is in right now but don't give up. It gets easier. Each day you remain tobacco-free is another day your body has had to rid itself of all the toxins and gases that are in tobacco and tobacco smoke.

Hang in there. I'll be back to see all the great stats you are posting. :thumb

Mine was a deliverance, we had an alter call and our pastor asked if there was something we wanted to be delivered from so I went down, the next day I smoked one and the Lord said 'your not even trying' and then the next one I picked up He said 'put it down' so I did. that has been over a year ago and I have tried to smoke on several occasions and just can't do it.

That's awesome! A few months ago my church had an altar call for "someone" who wanted to be delivered from smoking. I didn't go because I didn't want anybody to know I smoked :doh:doh:doh I have regretted that decision ever since. My quit could have been much different.

:thumbI want thank and praise THE LORD for assisting me today...I had a biopsy of the prostate and it went well and easier than I thought....I wll know the results in 2 weeks but I trust that will be good news...
