UNCONFIRMED: WAS EARTHQUAKE IN IRAN A NUCLEAR TEST?

:nuke

By Joel C. Rosenberg

(Washington, D.C., October 31, 2008) -- Let me begin by saying I am hesitant to send
this to you because it is an unconfirmed report, and I hope it is wrong. But I
wanted you to at least be aware and we'll track the story together in the coming
days.

An Israeli news service is reporting this morning that an earthquake in Iran last
weekend may have been triggered by an Iranian nuclear weapons test, citing an
Iranian nuclear scientist working on the project as its source.

There's a discussion about this on the following thread:

It's probably Iranian posturing. Considering that independent reports indicate the epicenter was 30 miles underground, it was quite likely a real earthquake and Iran is using it to forward the notion that they already have successfully tested nukes when they haven't.

Ya...., sounds like the epicenter was too deep for a test.
I am sure they will try to use it for propaganda.
Seems stupid that they would try to though.....but then again one has to consider the source....:hehee

An earthquake is quite distinctive. I believe there are 3 different types of waves produced. A nuclear blast underground would look different to scientists. I dont think it would be possible to pass off a nuclear test as an earthquake
