Europe awaits 'new deal' from President Obama

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Europe has welcomed the victory of the democratic candidate in the US presidential elections, with the French leader Nicolas Sarkozy praising the choice of "change" and "optimism" by the American voters, while Brussels urged for a "new deal in a new world" under the leadership of Barack Obama.

"This is a time for a renewed commitment between Europe and the United States of America," European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said in a statement released early Wednesday (5 November), minutes before Senator Obama appeared to meet his supporters in his hometown of Chicago after his victory was confirmed.

Mr Barroso assured the US President-elect of his support when both Brussels and Washington will "face together the many challenges ahead of us."

"We need a new deal for a new world. I sincerely hope that with the leadership of President Obama, the United States of America will join forces with Europe to drive this new deal," he added, using the same term as the Democratic predecessor of Obama in the White House, Franklin D. Roosevelt..........

Well, we're all wondering what exactly 'The Deal' is. I mean this already just so ridiculous and the election is barely over.

While flipping radio stations on my way home this evening I found a station that was speaking with someone "important" from the government in Europe and he was speaking on the financial situation of the world. He spoke about how there was already a "new world currency" awaiting the new president of the USA to basically implement. He said the USA would have a little smaller role regarding financial decisions and China (and I cannot remember the second country) would play a slightly higher role. The guest speaker said it would be hard to convince the US to accept but they knew with Obama backing it we would comply, possibly before or at least by his inauguration.
I wish I would have paid more attention after reading this tread I just put it off as nothing to worry about. Now if this is true or not I don't know, but it sure does fit end time prophecy. Do you guys see something like this happening and if so how soon?

Well-there's a meeting among all the world leaders late next week here to discuss the global financial crisis, FWIW. Dunno if Obama will be there though.

Let me go back to the closed congressional session in March. There was an indication of declaration of financial insolvency in or around February 'O9. Since the September meltdown played out almost verbatim, I have no problem repeating this stuff, people can just believe whatever they want. All we need now is some event to expedite the rest.

Turn, can you remember the station call letters or #? Maybe we could get a transcript from their website and see exactly what was said. Like Logo said...it's all basically been discussed. This currency just needs to be implemented.
