i LOVE LOVE LOVE this analogy when it comes to the topic of floods...
i was watching perry stone the other day..and he spoke of the major water disasters (tsunami/katrina) in the context of WATER BREAKING during the process of a woman in labor!!

A BEAUTIFUL ANALOGY!!! you know it is real when the water breaks!!!!!!!!
folks--the earth is in heavy labor and is about to birth a new kingdom!!

Love that, so apropos.
Here, in southern Ontario everything is crispy. Water restrictions abound, some cities are threatening to fine people who are using water when prohibited. Resevoirs in some cities are already below 25% at this early stage of the summer season. Those cities are making arangements for trucking water in. It clouds over but it just doesn't want to really rain. When it does it's a small misting accompanied by tons of wind and spectacular lightening. We also seem to be experiencing a whole lot of mini power outages. More than I can remember in the past.
As though I'm watching a trailer for a big blockbuster movie that will soon be in a theatre near you.
It is all so very strange.

James Chapter 5:
17Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

To the Perry Stone post...yep...heard that. I watch the news....it's so true. And if you listen closely....many of the floods and fires are "record breaking". Some many say "but they happened in this year or that year before".....BUT...they are presently all happening simultaneously!!! Hmmmm.......food for thought. :twitch
