3,500 people rescued from floods

The Government has been told it had under-estimated the scale of the flood rescue effort after new figures showed as many as 3,500 people have been rescued by the fire service in the past few days.

The rescue effort was described as the biggest in peacetime Britain, with the number of casualties now exceeding 600. Four people have already died in the flooding, which has forced hundreds of people in Yorkshire and the Midlands from their homes.

Official data revealed that the fire service received more than 7,300 calls to flood-related incidents on Monday and Tuesday in England and Wales mainly in Humberside, Yorkshire, Shropshire, Nottinghamshire and Gloucestershire.

Got soaked once again walking to and from work. It's becoming a habit. But this time it really struck me - this really is not English weather. (I know everyone thinks it rains here all the time, but it really doesn't!) It is strange. We some times have torrential showers, but that's it, they're only showers. Coming out of the hospital I knew as I watched it chucking it down that I'd never get home anything less than completely soaked. The weather is bizarre, and it's been bizarre here for ages. Some crazy people are saying its judgment. But I think it's more likely to be God making his presence felt. It gets me wondering what the next thing will be... :panic

I remember watching Perry Stone talking about water - and the birth pains that eventually birth a child. I just had my last baby she is 17 months. And before she could come out - my water had to be broken - then about 4 hours later she was born. The longest birth pains I had was with my 3 year old. I was in labor for 20 hours. They broke my water about 10 hours into the labor and she was born 12 hours later. I might be just grabbing straws here. But I know there is a connection.

When I had my daughter I had braxton-hicks contractions for 6-7 mo's as the birth got closer so did the contractions, then the day before I had her I knew it was time. The day of her birth I knew it was the day, it was Thanksgiving day to be exact and I wanted so much to eat dinner with my family, well believe it or not I did, haha:lol2, anyways after I ate the contractions got closer and closer I walked around quite a bit, then we decided to go back home and get my clothes and head to the hospital. Well by the time I got to the hospital she was born in 40 mins but here's the catcher my water never broke and was actually buldging out so the Dr had to break my water and 3 or 4 pushes and she was out! She was my quickest birth. All births are different but there is one main thing everyone has to have before giving birth and thats the breaking of the water whether by hand or accident. Interesting.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this analogy when it comes to the topic of floods...

i was watching perry stone the other day..and he spoke of the major water disasters (tsunami/katrina) in the context of WATER BREAKING during the process of a woman in labor!!

WWWOOOOWWWWW!!

A BEAUTIFUL ANALOGY!!! you know it is real when the water breaks!!!!!!!!
folks--the earth is in heavy labor and is about to birth a new kingdom!!

praise God!

So was I also watching Perry Stone that very same day, SetApart... and did you notice the excitement in his voice as he talked with Rod Parsley? Yup, I agree! It is as he spoke of the major water disasters in the context of water breaking during the process of a woman in labor, isn't it!?

The Church Age IS about to come to an end, and the Rapture follows.:yeah :yay
