In the eyes of some in the Arab world, Obama could represent a return to the role of America as an "honest broker" in the Arab-Israeli conflict, a once-touted image that has waned over the eight years of the Bush administration. Many in the region see the US as overtly pro-Israel.

And...

"I think Israel would welcome a solution to the Iranian nuke problem without a military confrontation," says Hillel Cohen, a professor at the Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. "Negotiation through Obama would be great."

That would be cool if he could arrange a peace deal over there. Something that would last awhile like say seven years or better.

The boy is so very naive.

Obama has always wanted to "give away" the country he hates.

I suppose we won't believe it until he starts making it happen--and then listen to the howl when our enemies take advantage of Mr. Obama's "offer"!

Maybe that's what it's going to take to break his hypnotic effect?

What is funny (not haha) is I heard on the news this morning that those that travel with campaigns don't discuss what goes on during the campaign, but can discuss it after....NOW they are comiing out and saying that Obama had a "creep factor" about him. I saw other reporters asking questions like, "what has Obama done, what is he really about, as we only know what is in his book"....kind of like shutting the gates after the horses get out, isn't it? WashintonPost has now come out and "revealed" that they were reporting their news with a pro-Obama slant as they backed his candidacy. So much for "unbiased journalism". :twitch

Are we there yet? That's something my daughter always liked to say on our trips in the car.

Are we there yet, Lord?:pray

This is the exact same word that came to me when trying to describe my gut-feelings to others about O and his wife.
