PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (CNN) -- A second school collapsed in Haiti on Wednesday in central Port-au-Prince, a top Red Cross official has confirmed.

Dr. Jean Pierre Guiteau, executive officer of the Haitian Red Cross, told CNN there are casualties at the Grace Divine Primary and Secondary School.

No further information was available.

The collapse of a three-story concrete school last week in nearby Petionville killed more than 90 people -- many of them children -- and injured 150, officials said.

Praying everyone is safe

I doubt if Haiti has the same construction standards we have. The construction of those buildings have to be poor at best...plus all the hurricanes that pass through there had to have weakened them.

Oh no, this is tragic.

Praying for Haiti... so many needs, Lord be with them and help them.

I work for an org that does missionary outreach in Haiti and we're saving money to build a school... it's so hard to get work done in Haiti and everything is so corrupt. We've been sending food & other aid & doing medical missions but it feels like a drop in the bucket compared to the needs.

That country needs the light of Christ... keep praying for all the missionaries there. :pray

I know this may come across has terrible, but just think of how many of those children are now in Heaven...had they lived to be older, they may have never accepted Christ as their Savior. I thought of this when the tsunami happend in 04. (I think.) Their families def. need prayer. Maybe this will turn some of them toward Christ.

Yes, that country has so many problems! A friend of mine at work has her daughter over there. I've heard so many horror stories about Haiti! Her daughter has been trying to adopt 2 kids from there for a couple years (a brother & sister) and she's had a very hard time with it. For some reason they can't get through the red tape to be able to bring the kids back to the U.S. She's also a missionary over there (that's how she found the kids). So now she's staying there until she can bring them home. I pray her kids weren't in these schools! I haven't seen my friend in awhile because she's laid off right now. So I'm praying!!!
