Of course who's involved? Google!
"A website launched Friday with the backing of technology industry and Hollywood elite urges people worldwide to help craft a framework for harmony between all religions.
The Charter for Compassion project on the Internet at www.charterforcompassion.org springs from a "wish" granted this year to religious scholar Karen Armstrong at a premier Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) conference in California."
"Tedizens" include Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin along with other Internet icons as well as celebrities such as Forest Whittaker and Cameron Diaz."

Dear God, help us! :ohno It can't be much longer before Jesus returns for us. Not with things like this happening.
I'm looking up!

What ever happened to Google's "Don't be evil" philosphy? I guess they threw that out the door when they decided to self-censor in China and jumped in bed with the CIA in the US. Nothing about Google shocks me anymore. They'll probably even jump on the homosexual bandwagon along with McDonalds and Pepsi sooner or later.

Agree in principal here but remember that our boycott pulled McDonalds back from active participation into a neutral position about a month ago. I believe its Focus on the Family we thank for organizing it and getting the boycott word out and then negotiating a settlement to call he boycott off. :thumb
Its the same group that cost Ford so many millions and got them to reverse their support of gay rights.

We're all one big happy family.
Global Village, Global Community.
So much of the Tower of Babel communalism getting about these days.
They are teaching it, soon they'll be practicing it.

I was just at the main site and watched a video. It claims that fundamentalism is the root of everything wrong in the world today. A narrow interpretation of scripture is not just wrong, but it incites violence. In short, the video claims we must give up the belief that Jesus is the only way to God, and all religions must be embraced equally. They only want to take the generic "compassion" out of Christianity, and the rest of scripture is discarded. We are to embrace feel-good emotion, not true belief.
This looks so much like a foundation stone to build a one world religion upon. It claims to be reverent, but denies the power of God. It wants to reduce all religion to humanistic community service projects.

Sounds good don't it? Can't we all just get along? How in the world could that be bad? Satan comes crawling in on a sweet message of peace. Slithering serpant. It's insideous. It's deceptive. Can't you just see how SO MANY will be deceived?
Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
That man right there that spoke those words, He's the sticking point. He's the crux of the whole issue. Jesus, the One who came to save the world yet sets the world at variance with itself. There is no peace outside of Him. Jesus, it's all about HIM. Can live with Him, can't live without Him! The Lord Jesus!

And if we object, these pantheists will accuse us of NOT being compassionate! I'm so tired! Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
