This is probably exactly why he had that weird look on his face last week.

That is probably why he had that look on his face, reality had set in. It's not just a popularity contest anymore.

I think as POTUS, Obama will rise to the ocassion and meet the challenge.
As a citizen, I have to have at least have faith in that much.

The bottom line is, I refuse to live my life in fear. In the whole scheme of things, Obama is only a man who is trying to do a job. He deserves to be given a chance.

He has quickly developed his transition team and is being briefed on security interests.

Presidential candidates like to make promises to get elected and, in all fairness, they may have every intention of keeping those promises. However, at some point after the election, reality begins to set in. Sometimes the reality is that the new President has to deal with a Congress that is uncooperative with the President. For President Bush, he has had to deal with a Congress that has been downright hostile to him. He also had to face the reality of 9/11 shortly after he was confirmed as the President. It looks like President Obama will have to face the reality that there are terrorists out there who really want to destroy the US. It's imperative that we pray for wisdom for our new President.

Time to grow up and face a reality that he will have to make decisions other than present.

Nobody will be happier to have Obama in the White House than the muslim terrorists of the world.

Sorry, he gets no chance, benefit of doubt, or time of day from me.

I think this is why he had that "deer in the headlights" look at times during hs acceptance speech. He really didn't think he'd win, instead thinking he could use his loss as ammunition for more "community agitation". I think he realizes, at some level, that he's not equiped for the job!

I can't describe how much I hate to see this happening to our once great nation, but I keep telling myself that we have to be removed as a power for prophecy to unfold. Maranatha!

this reminds me of that last scene from the movie "The Candidate" where robert redford, playing that young presidential candidate thinking he has no chance of winning, actually wins and then turns to his campaign manager and says with a stunned look on his face
"what do we do now?"
