Kim Clement predicted there would be a cure for AIDS by the year 2002.
He predicted Osama bin Laden would be brought out of his hiding place and captured during a certain time frame in 2004.
There are many others.
He's a false prophet, and as seen from the above posts, his teachings are refuted by the bible.
I'm always puzzled why people continue to listen to the likes of him, and why, oh why do they send him money?
He'd get out of the prophecy business if the money would dry up.
Also, why do Christian television shows continue to have him on? Viewers should hold these programs accountable for who and what is shown. If I enjoyed a particular Christian program, and they had Kim Clement on, I'd write them about it, and if I had ever sent them a dollar, I'd let them know there would be no more money from me.

Kim Clement was born in Uitenhage South Africa in 1956
I read this previously and was rather surprised as I thought he was American. But this alone stands out for me, a being a South African myself, it says a lot - "Uitenhage" - which is Dutch and literally means "Out of the Hage", i.e., from the Hage (a district of Holland) is situated in a poor province of South Africa - the Eastern Cape - the only thing that keeps this place alive is the Volkswagen factory that's situated there. Many British people emigrated from the UK to this particular area in the 60's and 70's because South Africa offered them a better life then and it's my thinking that Clement's parents are from the UK, because most people from this area have either Dutch or French names.
The other thing that struck me about his life was this:
He describes this occurring while “suffering from a severe knife wound as I overdosed on heroin.”
This area of the country is notorious for its drug use (abuse). It's also known as the devil worship or satanic capital of South Africa. I lived in Port Elizabeth which is approximately 30km from Uitenhage, for 2 years, so I know well what the spiritual health of this place is like and the new age/prosperity gospel has made huge inroads there. This community needs prayer.

Just wondering what everyone thought of Kim Clement. I work at a Salon and one of my clients really likes him. I have checked out his web site and I don't get a good feeling. Is it just me or does anyone else think he is a little too "OUT THERE ?" Please let me know,,,because I could be wrong.
That was the same thing the Scribes Pharisees and all the religious people thought about Jesus, and all the prophets that were killed, was because of our ignorants. Think like this if it is beyond others unorthodox, it could be correct, remember the world is not flat like once thought.

I can't think of anyone outside of the Biblical texts that I would even remotely consider to be a true prophet.

“When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him”
(Deuteronomy 18:22).
Clement has had many failed prophecies, I think Dalnik must have missed Sing4Him's and MntGirls posts?

You must rely on God to tell you and to tell what is truth, because people will always want to tell you there truth, they killed the prophets because they didnt know God just as we do today, we claim to, but kill His messengers. You must learn His voice because you will be lead astray by your self or some one else if you dont. Know one can tell you truth, except God, but they can confirm it. Jesus said my sheep know my voice, John10:4, and He said he would give you a counselor who would lead you in to all truth. Get to know God, not man and religion, Godbless you.

Most defiantly not! But that is exactly what you are doing, your not asking God your asking men,
Hosea 4:6 says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. The knowledge He is talking about is divine knowledge of God not this doctrine of men, in Hosea they had the whole bible in there heads but no revelation of truth, what we all need is the teacher Holy Spirit. Jesus opened there eyes in Luke 24:45 that they may see it for what it really is. 1+1=2 now it is the same for scripture, it means one thing, if you listen you will very quickly see that everyone has an answer and a very good one ,but is it truth!
Jesus never said it was your knowledge of scripture or your doctrine, has healed you! NO He said your faith, not your doctrine or how much scriptuer you know and can quote, no it is faith, Heb11:6 you can only please him or come to Him by faith not religion.
So always ask and learn, but keep and get your relationship with Christ, John5:39-40 and not a religion.
