Just wondering what everyone thought of Kim Clement. I work at a Salon and one of my clients really likes him. I have checked out his web site and I don't get a good feeling. Is it just me or does anyone else think he is a little too "OUT THERE ?" Please let me know,,,because I could be wrong.

Kim Clement (a self proclaimed prophet), prophesying on the TBN “Praise the Lord” broadcast: “Now the Lord is speaking about the next one, Bin Laden, who's about to be captured. And so I'm looking forward to Easter. I'm going on television right now and saying this is what I have prophesied. And I believe if you pray and believe with me, this will happen, because that swine needs to come out of his hole as well." [Praise the Lord, January 12, 2004] April 14, 2004, Kim Clement’s website: ".....Regarding Osama, we are not sure exactly when this will happen because it is not clearly defined. However, there seems to be is a suggestion that Easter would have been the beginning of celebrations. There are several events that have occurred (up to and through) the Easter weekend. I feel strongly that the "celebration" is regarding the "resurrection of the dead" (as I prophesied) and also possibly the "bringing out" of our greatest enemy!!!....Many of you may be wondering, “was this past Easter really one of the greatest Easters this Nation has ever celebrated?” My feeling is that Easter was the time where "things will be revealed" and the "greatest enemy" will be "brought out." Over that sacred time (Easter), something was exposed which will be the end of his hiding. For a time I too felt that over Easter we would see the capture of Bin Laden, however, when I read the prophetic word that I had given, I understood that it meant “revealing his whereabouts,” and this would bring him out. This could be the beginning of the 35-day period." “When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him”
(Deuteronomy 18:22).

[TBC: There are many self proclaimed prophets in the world. The Scriptures warned us that this would happen (2 Peter 2:1). False prophets profess to speak for the Lord. The following "prophecy" is what God allegedly said to Kim Clement.] The Da Vinci Code is My Doing The Spirit of God says, "What is the Da Vinci Code? It is My doing, it is My doing," says the Spirit. "Why? For men shall run to Christ. Why? For I shall take what they thought was an opportunity to bring the Son of God down," says God. "He shall be resurrected again in this generation," says the Spirit of God." Are the people, are the warriors, are the members in God's house listening to the word of the Lord? There shall be two more movies that shall come out. One shall be the "Gospel of Mary Magdalene," and the other one shall be the "Gnostics according to Thomas." "It is My doing for it shall draw millions into the Kingdom, for they will find no answer, no answer. Do not fight what is happening. Take it as an opportunity and tell them who I am," says the Spirit, "for I will reveal Myself in a glorious way!" Our season of subtraction has come to an end! It's come to an end! It's come to an end! Your season of subtraction has come to an end!

Kim Clement predicted there would be a cure for AIDS by the year 2002.
He predicted Osama bin Laden would be brought out of his hiding place and captured during a certain time frame in 2004.
There are many others.
He's a false prophet, and as seen from the above posts, his teachings are refuted by the bible.
I'm always puzzled why people continue to listen to the likes of him, and why, oh why do they send him money?
He'd get out of the prophecy business if the money would dry up.
Also, why do Christian television shows continue to have him on? Viewers should hold these programs accountable for who and what is shown. If I enjoyed a particular Christian program, and they had Kim Clement on, I'd write them about it, and if I had ever sent them a dollar, I'd let them know there would be no more money from me.

Kim Clement was born in Uitenhage South Africa in 1956
I read this previously and was rather surprised as I thought he was American. But this alone stands out for me, a being a South African myself, it says a lot - "Uitenhage" - which is Dutch and literally means "Out of the Hage", i.e., from the Hage (a district of Holland) is situated in a poor province of South Africa - the Eastern Cape - the only thing that keeps this place alive is the Volkswagen factory that's situated there. Many British people emigrated from the UK to this particular area in the 60's and 70's because South Africa offered them a better life then and it's my thinking that Clement's parents are from the UK, because most people from this area have either Dutch or French names.
The other thing that struck me about his life was this:
He describes this occurring while “suffering from a severe knife wound as I overdosed on heroin.”
This area of the country is notorious for its drug use (abuse). It's also known as the devil worship or satanic capital of South Africa. I lived in Port Elizabeth which is approximately 30km from Uitenhage, for 2 years, so I know well what the spiritual health of this place is like and the new age/prosperity gospel has made huge inroads there. This community needs prayer.
