Several influential people have also called for African unification. Here's a news story.

With all the tribalism, and conflict...I can't see this happening short of the AC's demonic influence. IF they ever unify, it will be a tribulation event.

Like Mr. Mann, I believe it will take the rapture to unite these people. They have so many different groups fighting each other, that it will take a world tragedy to force them to unite with their own Country men.

(of coursed to a Christian, the rapture will not be a tragedy but a promotion)

They're not talking about uniting into a single country. They're talking about working together to improve trade, travel, etc.

Yea I think it would be more of a loose confederation. Though it is supposed to be called the USA(United States of Africa).

free movement of people, goods and services is what is being discussed. similar to the Eu.
Can't see it happening though, more likely the Arab Islamic north and the African Christen south will unify into 2 seperate blocks.

There can't be a united Africa... there would be not enough graft for all the politicians and there would be too many would-be coup leaders.

There is plenty of graft in Africa, just not enough oil.
