Hmm...
Let's see. I like the old Christian Rock (Resurrection Band, Petra, Stryper), Alternative (Daniel Amos, Jerusalem, 77's), some hip hop (Toby Mac and grits), I love Tye Tribbett, I like much of the newer stuff.. I guess you could say that I love music... except most Country and Southern Gospelhttp://www.clipart.co.uk/clipart/mazeguy/animated/duck.gif
I'm with you on that wife - 'cept I like a couple of folk country artists like Trisha Yearwood.
TobyMac:thumb He and the others give like 190% in their performances.

Bluegrass Gospel, like Claire Lynch, Allison Krauss, New Tradition (I get to listen to some on Sunday afternoon on a program called Sanctuary).
Newgrass - classic jazz(like Gershwin) follow next.
Unfornitually I'm the least favored in the house. Thanks for a cd player in my truck!
But one of the greatest Christian artists is Keith Green. The music is fine, but the lyrics say it all.
2nd Chapter of Acts, Don Francisco, 3rd Day, Kim Hill, and Susan Ashton are favorites too.

I like any kind of music (secular or Christian) except for bluegrass or old school southern gospel. My favorite Christian group is Skillet, tho I didn't care much for their last CD. It was a bit too mellow from their previous release.

I saw them in concert this summer. The front man said he didn't like the band's name since it was named for a frying pan- :aha. When they first started as a band, they weren't so hard rock. I was surprised at how they sound now. I guess I'd really have been surprised to hear their music from a year or so ago!

Jesus Music - Good! CHRISTian! Music! :nod :thumb
Messianic Jewish/Hebrew Christian - Baruch haba b'shem Yeshua!
Praise and Worship - Of course :nod I tend to lean towards the older ones for church/that aren't like complex rock songs, but the newer worship ones (Chris Tomlin, Third Day, etc.) are fine for listening by myself. Occasionally I'll like a popular traditional one thrown in, and I prefer acoustic worship, blended w/mostly praise choruses with a few pop. traditional ones and/or a few gospel ones thrown in. I like the ones with harmonies :nod
Contemporary Christian/pop - the ones that aren't watered down or barely recognizable as Christian and the more Christian the better (not so much of the newest artists, therefore)
Christian rock - the ones that aren't watered down or barely recognizable as Christian and the more Christian the better, and also not the heavy stuff (most new Christian rock) The kind of music like the newest Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, and Building 429 are kind of stretching it for me, I don't listen to heavier than that, and those I don't listen to much.
Southern Gospel - I didn't use to care for it, but you really can't escape it if you ever get involved with worship in a church in Georgia, which I did, so I can enjoy it some, especially the faster ones, and the less elements like country (bad warbly drawling singing, aged singing, harmonica and/or banjo, excessive fiddle), the more tolerable.
